~It's in the details ~Thematic Photographic 164

It's been awhile since I have been able to participate in Carmi's Thematic Photographic meme. My choice for this theme is something we see so often, but never really up close. It's a part of our daily lives and  for the most part, we basically take for granted that it is there. How often do we stop to really observe it's shape ... it's phase?

Beautiful! I love the moon- often writing about it, but I agree, it's often taken for granted!

Lovely photos!

It's so difficult to capture the moon. You've done a fantastic job. I love the final shot. Wow.

Something to moon over.

That last shot is my absolute favorite! The texture of the surface just begs to be touched, carried. Vivid and abstract, detailed and distinct, the moon is a constant source of wonder.

I like your thought process on this one, Vicki. We take so many things for granted in our everyday lives, yet you've so deftly reminded us that we need to stop every once in a while and look more closely. As you've proven here, we see wonderful things when we take the time.

So glad you made it back to Thematic...you always have a way of turning themes into something truly special!
