Being a Christian and believing that God is truly in control of my life and the lives of my family members ... at this point in time I have nothing to fear. I have been close to death and have survived, but only because God has more for me to do.

2. Do you like nuts in your Chocolate Chip cookies?
No nuts for me.

 

3. If you couldn't change the channel, what tv show would drive you from the room?

The Office

4. Pulp or no pulp in your Orange Juice?

5. Who do you miss the most?
My parents. This was taken 6 months before my Mother passed away. My Dad passed away 4 years later.

I try to go weekly.

I'm with Java ~ summer clothes

3.  What is the last thing that you felt guilt about doing?
Mailing off a package that should have gone out weeks ago. I want to add a couple of things to it and just haven't gotten out to get them yet ~ my mission for today.

4.  Soft serve ice cream or hand dipped?
What is this? A trick question ?!It all depends on what I'm eating. Soft Serve ~

It's Sunday night and time to join in on Meet Me on Monday.  What is that ... you may ask. It's a fun little meme hosted by JAVA @ Never Growing Old. Each week Java offers 5 questions. The idea is we get to know each other a little better. So, come on in and join the FUN!

Questions for Sunday April 3, 20111.  If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I agree with Java on this one, but not just any bread ... I LOVE crusty bread and rolls!

2.  Do you write your blog posts in advance or the day you post them?

I always post the same day, usually right after I write them.

3.  Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?

Yes. When I was a Senior in high school I was in a car accident where a car sped through a yellow light and hit my car when I was turning left.  The car that hit me sped around another car that was also turning left, but going in the direction that it was going. The guys had been smoking pot and left the hospital before police could question them about the accident.

4.  What is your favorite candle scent?

From Bath & Body Works

5.  Coffee or tea?
BOTH!

2 cups of coffee in the morning.

Sweet Ice Tea the rest of the day!

AND ... occasionally ... a cup of HOT tea before bed!

Meet Me on Monday

Welcome to the 40th edition of Meet Me on Monday!!!

WOW! Has it been a week already? Time sure flies fast when you lots to do, or want to do.

Anyhoo, here are todays questions :


1.  Crunchy or soft tacos?

2.  Do you scrapbook?
     I have done a few projects in the past, several years ago. I still have loads of   
     paper and all sorts of tools to scrapbook. whenever my Grand-daughter has a  
     project she knows exactly where to find what she needs. 

3.  Do you take any daily medications?

           
    
4.  What is your favorite sound?

I LOVE the sound of the ocean!

    
5.  Where were you born?

** I was getting this post ready last Sunday night before I was to go out of town. Just as I was about to post it, our electricity went out.  I am posting today, even though I can no longer link up to the meme . I would love to hear comments from "my friends"

Today's questions :
1. Do you have a fireplace in your home?   We have 2.  The one upstairs is a gas burning fireplace. The fireplace   downstairs is a wood burning one. Neither one works. My hubby would like to   put in a corn or pellet burner downstairs. We have been in the process of   re-doing the downstairs. Soon he will have to decide.

This is not a very good picture, but it gives you an idea of what the upstairs fireplace looks like.
2.  Can you drive a stick shift?

     Yes, I can. My husband taught me when we first got married, 32 years ago. 

    We have always had a stick shift pickup. The truck I learned to drive on 

    looked like this.

The one we have now  looks like this.    

3.  How many computers are in your home?

     We have 3 of these.

4.  Are your taxes done yet?  Do you do them yourself?

     No, they are not done yet. My hubby does them and he is usually running to  

     the post office at 10pm the day they are due.

5.  What is your favorite meal of the day?

      Even though, most of the time I have coffee and toast or yogurt. I LOVE 

      breakfast!
