We have known each other for 36 years.

Isn't it funny how fast the days fly? Last week on this day I was sitting in warm sunshine on a catamaran, just off the coast of Key West. That all seems like a dream, as I am now back in the 50 degree temps of Wisconsin.But my heart and soul is aching for summer. The result ... the pick for my ABC Wednesday~L ...

L is for Lakes and Lazy Summer days ~

Last summer, my daughter, her friend, and I took a trip to Northern Wisconsin to Lake Minocqua.

The first evening we went to the Lake and took pictures of the sunset.

The next day we went to a smaller Lake with a beach area to relax and enjoy the sun.

!~I love Dunkin Donuts coffee.

2~In the winter, I am content to stay at home for days on end.

3~I love working in my yard.

4~One of my favorite things to do is walk on the beach.

It's Sunday night and time to join in on Meet Me on Monday.  What is that ... you may ask. It's a fun little meme hosted by JAVA @ Never Growing Old. Each week Java offers 5 questions. The idea is we get to know each other a little better. So, come on in and join the FUN!

Questions for Sunday April 3, 20111.  If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I agree with Java on this one, but not just any bread ... I LOVE crusty bread and rolls!

2.  Do you write your blog posts in advance or the day you post them?

I always post the same day, usually right after I write them.

3.  Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?

Yes. When I was a Senior in high school I was in a car accident where a car sped through a yellow light and hit my car when I was turning left.  The car that hit me sped around another car that was also turning left, but going in the direction that it was going. The guys had been smoking pot and left the hospital before police could question them about the accident.

4.  What is your favorite candle scent?

From Bath & Body Works

5.  Coffee or tea?
BOTH!

2 cups of coffee in the morning.

Sweet Ice Tea the rest of the day!

AND ... occasionally ... a cup of HOT tea before bed!

Meet Me on Monday

Welcome to the 40th edition of Meet Me on Monday!!!

WOW! Has it been a week already? Time sure flies fast when you lots to do, or want to do.

     I have done a few projects in the past, several years ago. I still have loads of   
     paper and all sorts of tools to scrapbook. whenever my Grand-daughter has a  
     project she knows exactly where to find what she needs. 

3.  Do you take any daily medications?

           
    
4.  What is your favorite sound?

I LOVE the sound of the ocean!

    
5.  Where were you born?

** I was getting this post ready last Sunday night before I was to go out of town. Just as I was about to post it, our electricity went out.  I am posting today, even though I can no longer link up to the meme . I would love to hear comments from "my friends"
