Coffee Klatch Friday

Here are the questions:

1. What was 1 of the memorable events in your life last year?

2. What do you look forward to regarding your blog for this year?

Here are the answers:
1. I'd have to say my youngest, my baby, moving out on her own. Yes, we have an empty nest now.
In saying that, I know for some people it is a hard adjustment. For me, it hasn't been to bad. The reasons are
#1. daughter #2 was working 2 jobs and going to school. She was, pretty much only home to study and sleep, eat, and do laundry. She already was kind of on her own, without actually being on her own.
#2. I am one of those people who doesn't mind being alone. I enjoy the quiet when I am watching tv or on the computer (in fact, when I am on the computer, the sound is usually off). I have never been one to go out and party or have to be with someone so I'm not I'm bored.
2. Ahhhh ... for blogging, I want to get back into some meme's that I have done in the past. I especially
enjoy ABC WEDNESDAY and am going to try my hand at Project 365(6). Project 365 is where you take a picture a day and post it. Now .... I'm sure you're thinking ... hmmmmm ... I haven't seen any pictures. You are right! I have never been one of those people who post daily on my blog. I have decided that I will post 7 pictures on Sundays. They won't be perfect, they probably won't be memorable or of any significance ... I lead a pretty mundane life ... but it will be something that will have been part of my day.
I will also be posting (at least trying to) everyday things, like recipes (I know, some of you don't cook   and that's ok), crafts, garden stuff, etc.
So please come back often and leave a comment or 2 ... or 3... or 4. Feedback is a great encouragement!

So, what are you waiting for?

Oh, easy!
The most memorable thing last year was our trip to Russia. I might also say being awake for 31 hours on the way home from Russia, but that memory is fading, whereas seeing the country remains memorable.
2. Re my blog: I want to write at least another 18 short (very short, as you can see from my early blog posts) chapters of my book An Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous Travel.

Russia. sounds exciting. I have never really given much thought about traveling there. Hmmm .... maybe I will have to look into it. Although, I thought 13 hours to Europe was bad, can't imagine 31 hours.

Have a great week-end!

I made it finally. I hope I have your link hooked up properly.

Hi Vicki, I think the problem I was having with your Link was more my fault. First Blogger wouldn't accept the html -- or at least I couldn't get it to take. Then after I had it all working OK I found that the little brown square Link was way down the page with a large space above it, so I had to fix it. It seems to be working OK now, I hope.
