ABC Wednesday ~E is for ...

EXPEDIA

Do you travel? A lot? A little?
Do you use discount travel sites?
I travel a bit, some years more than others
and ALWAYS check out the discount travel sites.

I must say that I don't use Expedia all that much,
BUT ... if you are going some where and need a
flight, room, and car try Expedia. They have GREAT deals!

EXAMPLE: Last Fall, my daughter, her friend, and I planned a trip to Hawaii.
When first looking, we were just looking at airfare. That alone was going to be about
$630.00 per person. Expedia "claims" you can save 40% by booking a package, which includes,
airfare, hotel, and car. (Even though, we now know you don't need a car for a week)
That is what we booked, flight, 6 days in a hotel, and car for $745.00 per person.
Best of all, by the pictures you can see, we had a great time!

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. Sometimes bundling trip things together is the best.
Glad you had fun on your trip.

I usually try as many sources as possible, inc Expedia.

I have not had the luxury of travel yet... The photos make me think it might be a good idea though.

I think that is a great savings. Your trip looks wonderful, and what a happy trio in that last picture. Nice.

Hawaii is one of our favorite travel destinations. I know just where you were. We have stayed in town, Kahala and north shore. Loved Kahala best. My daughters ran across the filming of Magnum PI years ago when they filming. They acted like idiots.
Looks like you and the young ladies had a great time and probably didn't act like crazed roadies. You make me want to go back.
Thanks for visiting me and for your kind comments on my drapes. Hugs, Ginger
