Microfiction Monday

Welcome to Microfiction Monday, where a picture paints a story in 140 characters, or even fewer.
Susan at Stony River provides the picture, you provide the story.

You can find all the information HERE
To make this easy go to Design 215's Character counter

 Here is today's picture ~

Here is my story~

As she walked down the dim hallway

she heard the echo's of the past

                                                             Children laughing
                                                                tiny footsteps
                                                              Mrs. Jone's voice

                                                               Her eyes teared

This is what I though the picture was for today ~

Here is my story ~

The title of the movie is

                                         G-O-D-Z-I-L-L-A

                                             That's ME!

                                   You two monkeys can stop
                                   hogging the action scenes
                                   anytime now!

The picture will be posted Sunday evening.

Hahahah!!! I did the same thing, wrote stories for both of those pictures. Your first MM is pognant and I can identify with it, having raised 3 sons who are now grown, gone and married. The godzilla one is hilarious!

Love your take for the day -- on both of them!! I think a lot of us had a poignant/sad take on the first one. Always good to follow that with a laugh! Perfect! Have a great week, Vicki!

Both so good!

I felt that same way when I went back to my old school on summer a few years back. Nice take on the prompt. Unfortunately mine is crude this week.

I was thinking school too-great minds? LOL!

What fun. Two very, very different stories. First one provoked thought. The second, laughter.

Melancholia can strike the strongest of us.

That Godzilla and his ego! Funny!

I often get my memes mixed up! I liked the gentle pathos of your piece.

Love both of these! Great humor in the second... and touching emotion flowing tears of the first.

I got a good chuckle from the Godzilla image.

Hi Vicki, again. Yes, I did both pictures too, the wrong one first! :)

Your empty building story was sad. But then a lot of older ones think about many things that aren't anymore and can't be again.

Yes, since your writer was the star for sure in the second I don't blame her for wanting ME, ME, ME!

Really like the story for the hallway (although the other was amusing); leaves me wondering about the 'rest' of the story.
